Canine Arthritis
March 4, 2026
Arthritis is one of the most common causes of pain and mobility issues in dogs — affecting over 40% of pups at some point in their lives. But our furry friends can’t tell us when something hurts, so it’s up to us to spot the signs early and help them feel their best.

• Limping or trouble walking
• Stiffness or changes in gait
• Muscle loss
• Weight gain from less movement
• Less energy or interest in play
• Difficulty getting up, climbing stairs, or jumping
• Sitting awkwardly or preferring soft spots
• Accidents in the house
• Becoming tense, anxious, or irritable
If you notice any of these signs, talk to your vet. They may suggest pain relief, diet changes, joint supplements, tailored exercise plans, hydrotherapy, or other treatments to help keep your dog comfortable and mobile.
