The Team

Rachelle Gagnon is a Small Animal Veterinarian and has been practicing since May 2007.

An animal lover her whole life, Rachelle graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College in Charlottetown, PE and began her career at a small animal practice in Moncton, NB. She was employed there for a year and a half before moving to Shediac, NB, where she has been working at the Shediac Veterinary Hospital ever since. She loves cats and dogs, but has a particular interest in pocket pets.

In addition to practicing Veterinary Medicine, Rachelle enjoys speaking at Career Day at the regional high schools. In September of 2018, Rachelle became a member-at-large on the New Brunswick Veterinary Medical Association (NBVMA) council and was active until her term ended in September 2024. She was president of the NBVMA from September 2020 – September 2021.

Rachelle is married and has 2 children. She is the proud owner of a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel dog named Merlin, a Ragdoll cat named Milo and a dwarf hamster named Cheddar. She enjoys spending time with her family while camping, bicycling and quilting.
